I used to eat quinoa all the time, So i know that it is an amazing grain that packs a serious amount of protein and is also very low in carbs. Believe it or not, Some oats can be contaminated with gluten due to factory processes and contamination, So this is a good reliable alternative for those who are afraid of having a reaction due to gluten intolerances or coeliac disease.
The oats are delicious, With a sticky maple glaze flavour and the flaky oats give it a good fibre rich texture. The quinoa adds softness and protein with a little chew to the grain. This adds much needed vitamins that the body needs when on a vegan diet, Including vitamins B12 D and C. This is a great all-rounder and easy to make breakfast in the morning.” – Merope
“Really really delicious, good sized portion for breakfast or as a snack (though it doesn’t fill the entire tub), super easy to make a great for on the go.
I was worried that it’s was going to be too sweet but the golden syrup flavour is subtle and the flavour of the porridge still comes through!

This is a good porridge, which offers the convenience of coming in a pot so you don’t even need to get a bowl dirty. It is vegan if made according to the instructions on the pack, or you could add milk for a richer mix.
Each carton has just over 200 calories but 6.5% fibre, which equates to 3.6g in each little pot and gives you a good start towards attaining your recommended fibre intake for the day.
The porridge is easy to make – you just need to add boiling water to the fill line and then leave it to sit for 5 minutes with the lid on. That’s ample time to make your tea or coffee and feed the cat (or dog or both) and then sit down for breakfast. I had golden syrup flavour, which I enjoyed just as it came and, for variety, it was also good with a handful of dried fruit added
