The Nutritional Bit:

So much more than your average breakfast: the coconut mylk in each Perkier +Immune porridge contain healthy fats to increase absorption of Vitamin D.     What a great find! Love porridge, but always struggled to get it to the right portion and the right amount of water/milk in it so it won’t be rock solid or too runny. This issue is solved now.
    There’s 8 box in total. I’ve got the cranberry and Chia version of it. The size of the pot is good, contains a perfect portion for the morning. It has a plastic lid so you can close it while you are letting it get ready.
    There’s a line inside the pot to show you how much hot water/milk you need to add. Then let it sit for about 5 minutes and ready for a stir and eat. Once it’s ready, it doesn’t fill the whole pot, but that’s ok as it leaves some space for stirring.
    There’s small cranberry and chia seed chunks in it. Doesn’t make it sweet, so I have added a spoon of honey into it and used hot water. And the result is awesome! Very tasty.
    It contains no gluten or dairy. The pot is plastic but is recyclable, which is a plus

    My husband loves these for breakfast.
    He adds a few berries and a stir of greek yoghurt for flavour and probiotics and eats a couple of Graze flapjacks with a pot and then he is set until lunch time.

    I like the packaging – very attractive and cheery and they are not terrible for the environment. The cardboard peels off neatly to be recycled and the containers can then be used to store items. The containers are thin plastic so use less plastic than stiffer printed ones that are more commonplace.
    The transparent lids also fit other containers so I make sure they are far from single use plastics. In the picture you can see a couple of the containers after they’ve been used and washed – waiting to be re-used to store seeds.

    As you can see I stack the containers up in a corner of the kitchen to make it feel a bit like a coffee shop. Now we have been shielding for over 8 months and little strategies like this help to make us feel less like we are under house arrest.

    This is an easy to use porridge for breakfast or snack. It includes cranberry which gives it some sweetness and chia (good for fibre).
    As it is both gluten and dairy free it is available for anyone avoiding these foods. It also has added vitamins.
    It is fairly quick and easy to use – simply add hot water to the line as indicated, stir and leave for a couple of minutes. It is pleasant tasting and not too sweet but you can add other items – I add blueberries.
    The pot and top are both recyclable

    This is a great porridge pot! Dairy and gluten free and tastier than my usual pots. It makes nice thick oats or you can add more water to make it runny. It doesn’t have much in it when it’s made up but it does fill you up, so happy tummy here and happy taste buds. Recommended

    I am not a big fan of the porridges, but it is a perfect food to have in a morning, especially if trying to lose a bit of weight. Most time I eat my porridge just with peanut butter or just plain. But wanted to change something and tried this one. And I am quite happy about it. Then eating can feel a taste of cranberry which is very subtle, and not overwhelming. Plus it has a vitamin added to it already, which is good as well. Although, you can feel a bit of chemical /artificial taste in it. It helps if you mix with milk instead of water, which then becomes not so obvious. Overall it’s good and tasty porridge for a fast breakfast as it takes just a few minutes to make it. Plus healthy and good breakfast will give you energy for the whole day
